About
Tor Torre is a Makeup Artist Based in Manila, Philippines.
In 2007, Tor initially trained at the London Academy of Media Film and TV under the tutelage of British makeup artist Oriona Gryzb – Robb.
He turned PRO when his first job brought him to Vietnam to shoot a commercial and print ad for a beauty product.
Upon returning to Manila, he was invited by premier Filipino makeup artist, Patrick Rosas, to join the Patrick Rosas Artistic Team. This lead him to work on fashion shows for top Filipino designers such as Inno Sotto, Bea Valdez, Josie Natori, Cary Santiago and Michael Cinco just to name a few.
By 2009, Tor concentrated on pursuing his career in the field of Television and Commercials.
Aside from working on various TV commercials for the South East Asian Region, he was also the makeup artist of Christine Jacob – Sandejas for the now defunct TV show Full Time Moms on Qtv which was co-hosted by Suzi Entrata – Abrera.
On August 2012, Tor went to New York and sought further training in makeup artistry at the Makeup Designory Soho Campus. Where he trained under the guidance of American makeup and special effects artist Merideth Haring.
Today, Tor still continues to work on TV commercials for the South East Asian Region.
He is currently the makeup artist of host Suzi Entrata – Abrera on the show MARS on GMA News TV co- hosted by Camille Prats.
